Hi! I'm Nelly! I was found on a street near a hair salon in Oman , likely abandoned. I was begging for attention and trying so hard to get indoors because I was scared and just wanted to be anywhere as long as it was indoors. Being on the streets was taking its toll on me. Not only did I have a bad cold and an eye infection, but I was also malnourished and walking with a limp. I was in bad shape but I had a strong will to survive. My hope and determination paid off the day my rescuers found me and took me off the streets to get me the medical help I needed. With the help of my rescuers, doctors and foster human I’m now feeling great! It isn’t easy finding a safe and loving home in Oman and I had been waiting a whole year but now I’m here in the United States and I’m super excited! I’m a beautiful, confident, chill, social and affectionate kitty. I love human companionship and spending time with humans, not so much other kitties, and will even walk up to humans I don’t know to say “hi”. I like to cuddle up right next to humans, especially for pets because physical touch is something I crave and cherish. Another thing I love and cherish almost as much is a treat. I have an adorable and sweet meow to politely ask you for a treat or just to chat in general when you’re in the mood. I’m a very adoring and lovable kitty looking for a loving human only family and a safe home, no other kitties please. I can’t wait to share all of my love with my new family!
