Hi there...I just arrived at Kimie's Kritters Pet Rescue and am in need of a foster home. Kimie was told that I am dog and cat friendly. Kimie says that the jury is still out on that though because I am fearful of the resident dogs. Kimie feels that it could be due to the stress of a new environment since I am, what Kimie calls me, a Nervous Nelly. My family had me since I was a puppy and and I have been an outside only dog my entire life. My family moved to Mexico and never returned for me. I am crate and potty-trained. I would do best in a home with no children or older children because I get so excited that I like to jump up on people and might be too strong for small children. Kimie wants me to be adopted to a home with a fenced back yard because I love to run around and do zoomies!Adoption processFees: The adoption fees are generally range from $200 for adults and $350 depending on age, breed, health and temperament of the dog. These fees include vaccines to date, spay or neuter, microchip, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and any other medical issue addressed (including, but not limited to, dental cleanings if needed). Fees may be reduced or waived depending on the special needs of the animal. Adoption Agreement/Contract: If, for some reason, the adoption does not work out, we will take the pet back.Shelter locationWe are currently holding events at the Folsom PetSmart at 2705 East Bidwell next to the Home Depot on some Saturdays. Please check our Facebook Page or contact us to inquire as to whether we will be there in advance as we do not hold events every Saturday. If you are unable to attend, we can schedule a meet and greet.
