dob 4/22/20 Maizey was surrendered by a family that could no longer keep her. In spite of that, she has exactly the social temperament you’d want and expect from a well-adjusted cat. She made herself right at home with her foster family from the start. She loves to be petted, has a magnificent purr, sleeps with her people in bed, and gets cozy with them on the couch like she’s been doing it her whole life. She loves to watch the birds at the feeder, and she engages with play toys. She’s happy to be left alone, too. She’s not needy, high-strung or whiny - she just has a great disposition. She’s a good eater and a tidy litter box user. Maizey should be an only cat. She’s friendly and warm with humans but not with other cats. Her new family needs to be aware that Maizey used to go outside, and she still wants to. Until she is used to living indoors in her new home, everyone in the house has to be careful about doors so that they don't lose her.
