Keela came to my clinic back in January after being hit by a car two weeks prior. She was dragging both of her back legs and was unable to walk. The owner's could not afford any treatment. They agreed to surrender her over to my clinic. Once surrendered, we took x- rays. They showed that her left leg was fractured and her right hip was dislocated. Fortunately, this was fixable and no damage was done to her spine. The first surgery was her fracture repair. After she healed and recovered from that, we did her FHO on her right hip. She is able to walk and really wants to play with my dog. Keela has not met a stranger and ADORES people - especially children. She lived with 4 children prior and has been around a coworkers child and did great. She has been doing well with my 12 year old dog. Cats are a no go as she has a high prey drive - she loves to try and eat bugs and chase squirrels. I think Keela would be perfect for a younger person, a young couple, or a family.
