We adopted Wells from a shelter two summers ago & he has been the best dog. We have two little boys 7 & 9 and he has been so perfect with them. We are moving out of state & our new home does not allow large dogs. 😢 We want to find the best home for Wells! He truly is the sweetest, loves walks & when at the dog park he can run so fast. He is house trained and gets along with all of the dogs at the dog park. We also have a small dog and they are close buds and often share his large bed and kennel. We believe he is three years old. He needs daily exercise and a place like a farm or ranch would be a dream for him as his breed is a herding breed. When our boys were playing a nerf war in the house one time he nipped at one of their friends as they were playing. We think he was trying to be protective b/c they were playing aggressively but pretend and he couldn’t tell. There weren’t marks or any blood drawn. Wanted to share bc it happened. He has never nipped at our kiddos.
