This unbroken colt is very good-minded, athletic, and eager to learn and please. Has liberty potential!She has mastered: roundpenning, yielding hindquarters and forequarters, circle driving, backing up, leading at walk and trot, flexing, picking up feet, and lowering head. Has been desensitized to: whip, rope, hose, leg protection, hackamore, plastic bag, cats, and winter and saddle blanket. She is very charismatic, will come to a whistle, and loves her cuddles but gives a full-throttle effort during training sessions. She will go far in the right hands!From the beginning, she showed a strong aptitude for liberty work and already performs some of the listed exercises off lead. She will also go for runs off lead with me in the pasture. Very companionable!Fast and athletic, I can already see her cutting moves. Big, square hip, textbook front legs. The hose is her favorite during warm days, she loves a good shower and is cooperative when being bathed. We have never encountered problems with loading her. She is curious about everything, and investigates without fear. Does not spook easily, was very easy to desensitize.She has all the ground work for riding, but I am unable to take her to that stage due to lack of time. She is very prepared and could be ridden within a day of being brought home. She must find a new home by October!!! Again, I am willing to barter! Last October, she broke the splint bone in her right hind leg. A couple of months of hard work, and she was pronounced 100% sound. She has become cow-hocked because of the injury, but we are working with a farrier to correct that. It does not interfere with her athletic ability!â
